What do Yes Men - Groupies & Sheep all have in common? They all work for companies with CEO's who have guru complexes. Leaders that hammer their staff into a likeness of themselves that are required to chant the exact same sales phrases and marketing mantra's over and over again, after all that's branding right? Well maybe so - but that type of uniformity helps them sell their product to you. It doesn't help you sell your products to your customers.
You need more than one or two good ideas revamped and repeated over and over again. Sure, at the GMA we all have one thing in common; (we are working to delivery to you A Steady Stream of The Qualified Leads You Need So You Have A Steady Stream Of New Business), But we are diverse in our experience, each with expertise in different but needed areas of direct sales & marketing.
John Brda (the guy who keeps it all together)
Do you remember Elmer’s glue and school projects? Good old Elmer’s always did the job and then some. Sticking around and overflowing on your hands,
paper and desk. That's John.
John has the unique ability to pull everything (and everyone) together and “sticking with it" until more than what is “just needed” is done.
John's corporate background aside, he is the level headed one.
Maintaining calm and balance, making sure communication is fluid - complete and accurate; both internally and with our clients.
Every team needs a captain. John is that for the GMA and more.
President, project manager and client advocate, John Brda is the glue that keeps our crew of Marketer’s focused on digging up the treasure for our clients.
Oh ya - the corporate "stuff" below.
As President of an international golf marketing and promotions company, John was responsible for all day to day activities of a multinational corporation with operations in 8 countries around the world. All distributors and company personnel report to the President. Under his tenure, there were 40 courses under contract operating Dream Shot programs around the world.
Prior to taking on the role of President of Dream Shot, Mr. Brda operated his own consulting firm specializing in assisting small to mid size companies, both public and private, with SEC matters, IR, PR, capital financings, debt financings, business development and financial reporting.
In the early part of the decade Mr. Brda fulfilled roles as CFO of Rocky Mountain Sunscreen, Director of Business development for Limelight Media, VP of Business Development of Imedia in Los Angeles, and VP of Business Development for Milk Media in New York. Throughout the tenure with each company, Mr. Brda was able to significantly increase revenues and develop partnerships that were truly company changers for these companies.
Some of the partnerships secured by Mr. Brda include NASCAR, Champ Car, New York Daily News, Dallas Morning News, and Rascal Flatts, to name a few.
Mr. Brda's skill set is truly unique with excellent skills in management, finance, marketing, sales, communication and overall operations.
Matthew Fiorenza (Trend Spotter & Strategist)
Uncanny in his ability to dissolve walls that prevent the implementation of successful sales and marketing strategies for our clients. Matthew uncovers new streams of revenue for you from unnoticed but existing resources, while creating irresistible offers that make your prospects rush to buy from you, increasing response to your marketing without increasing your cost. Matthew is our in house Sales & Marketing Guru.
Included in his extensive golf experience is working with a range of business to consumer organizations, from Golf Resorts, to Private and Daily Fee Clubs. Business to business experience includes helping golf marketing & software companies as well as golf training aid and equipment companies who sell to golfers.
Ian Davies (Our in house radio personality and promotional expert)
Everybody has a guy in their group that they all envy – you know the one who seems to sail through life and work because he seems to have a way to make a good time pay. That’s Ian.
Ian is the guy who is always looking at his watch during a meeting; AND - you know it’s because he has a tee time encroaching. But you can’t do anything about it – (Nor Would You) – because he always delivers the goods.
Many nights you will find Ian at Orlando’s Hot Spots hosting his radio show “The Leaderboard” and interviewing golf greats like Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Phil Mickelson & Rory McIllroy.
It is this mix of passion for golf, and his vast media experience that Ian lends to our clients, as well as the benefit of connecting the right people for the right projects.
Gene Gerwin ( Our In House Guru – No Really, he lived in a cave)
It’s true – Gene (who is German and Italian) grew up living in the caves and forests of Spain and India - But you’ll have to ask him about that yourself.
For us, Gene is our Guru of Analytics, KPI & Metrics
Pouring through hundreds (or thousands) of numbers that prove out results for your email marketing, website conversions and more, is hardly like work to Gene. But what else would you expect from a guy who speaks five languages and plays chess at championship levels, (and of course, you guessed it – he is a Certified Genius).
Gene also holds certifications in conversion analytics, online testing, landing page optimization, pay per click, and social media marketing. But more importantly, since 1993 he has successfully helped companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Afflack, Wachovia, Autodesk, Legendary Marketing, and more market their services to businesses and consumers.
